Careers / Student Success Coach

Description
Giant Leaps Learning is a supplementary education program that teaches self-awareness, global-awareness, and critical 21st century skills to creative and curious high school students through an individualized and adaptive curriculum. We develop the leaders of tomorrow by helping them identify their strengths and interests, and having them explore how they might fit into the incredibly dynamic future ahead. Through an innovative, self-paced and online curriculum, 1-on-1 weekly coaching and offline activities, we fully engage students’ imaginations and intellect. Our program offers services year-round on a monthly subscription basis.
Success Coaches facilitate weekly 1-on-1 coaching sessions with each student. Each student’s curriculum is unique and based on their individual interests. The Success Coach will prepare for each student session, becoming familiar with the content and then work through the week’s agenda. Coaches will review student work, introduce the concepts, ideas and tasks and mentor the student through challenges. Success Coaches will be available for questions and support via Slack in-between weekly sessions.
Giant Leaps is a unique and special place to work, teach, and learn. Our Coaches are the engines that drive the success of the organization and of our students. They are creative, curious about the world, passionate about making a difference, they embrace change, and they have a vibrant energy and a positive outlook. Our coaches are committed to growth, learning and personal development. They communicate honestly and with compassion to both students and colleagues. People join Giant Leaps not only to work with students and make a real difference in the world but also to work with a team committed to their success as much as to our students.
Giant Leaps offers considerable opportunities for career advancement and we are a fully remote team.
